In addition to fully upholstering the chair, we replaced stuffing and sewed the roll edges before buttoning and adding the final cover. We also worked on a ships dining chair by Hepplewhite and belonged to the mid-19th century. The back of the seat required multiple repairs and the drop-in seat was restored to the original design. We also fully stuffed the chair with horsehair before covering.
